Becoming a Nose
We’ve been crafting custom perfumes for over a decade, led by our head perfumer and founder, Lane Edwards. Lane's perfuming journey began at eighteen with a life-changing visit to Fragonard, one of the oldest perfumeries in Grasse. When she became a mother, her own aversion to department store fragrances led her down the path to sourcing, understanding and using cleaner, safer ingredients. She fell in love with the process of formulating PURA's 'lean-in-close' oil based perfumes.
Lane has always had a keen sense of smell that she has spent years training to identify and distinguish hundreds of individual scent ingredients. Over the past 10-years, she's developed an extremely precise sense of smell, a well-trained olfactory memory, and a deep understanding of fragrance ingredients to create remarkable sensory storytelling.
At PURA, we’ve devoted countless hours working with unique compositions and an array of clients to create not only compelling fragrances, but perfumes that evoke an individual narrative and/or feeling to make a lasting impression.

Each custom perfume is made-to-order. Please allow up to 10 business days for formulation and blending. You will receive a confirmation when your order is submitted, and also when you perfume has been completed and shipped.

Absolutely. Once your formula is created, it’s kept on file in our private scent archive. You can easily reorder your personal perfume anytime, ensuring your signature scent is always within reach. Please email bespoke@purabotanicals.com if you would like to reorder.

You can purchase a PURA Custom Perfume Gift Card, allowing the recipient to customize and order their fragrance online. You can also create a custom perfume to gift to a loved one.
