I always find the New Year refreshing, It's a time to reflect on the wisdom gathered from the past twelve months, and think about how I can reshape my vision and goals for the upcoming year. It's that reset button I always look forward to- a deep-clean for project life. Not to mention, 'Sweet 16' has always been my favourite number. There is a certain sparkle and air of opportunity that emanates from 2016, don't you think?

In 2015, we spent countless hours refining our green beauty line to now an eco-luxe skincare collection, introducing the Morning Ritual & Night Ritual. Looking at beauty and wellness as a sensual, ritualistic experience is what inspired Pura Botanicals in the first place. The formulation process of our skincare may just be the most fascinating part of Pura. Now that we are set up in our production studio, we've been able to streamline and customize every aspect of our business. Although the focus has been on our skincare this year, our collection still offers so much variety with exquisite botanical perfumes, aromatherapy and body potions. The new collection and launch of our online store, apothecary and perfumery on Jasper Avenue and 124th Street in Edmonton has transformed Pura, and has allowed us to connect and collaborate with so many other talented women in business and arts.

I can't tell you how heart-warming it was to see how many women around the globe received our potions as thoughtful and mindful Christmas gifts this year. As each bottle leaves our studio, it shows we are a movement of women mindful of what we put in and on our bodies. At Pura, we are passionate about multi-generational health, and want to see you and all the women in your life live long, radiant and healthful. We've set some pretty powerful intentions and goals for 2016, and we look forward to sharing them with you as the year progresses. 

We especially look forward to launching Pura's Signature Botanique Shampoo & Fleur Crema Conditioner, as well as a whole new collection of green beauty care for PURA BABY this Spring. We've taken such care in researching and formulating the most nourishing and certified organic collection of self-care baby products. A baby's skin is so sensitive and perceptive- like another layer of emotion. Pura Baby will be handcrafted with the finest certified organic oils, vitamins, active botanical extracts, and the most divine pure essential oils. We'll also be introducing a small inclusive line for mama's too. As a mother of three small children myself, I am so excited for Pura Baby & Mama.

I'm amazed by all of the wonderful support we've received since we opened our studio doors at the end of July 2015. We've made ourselves open to the public on Wednesdays to welcome Pura lovers into our space, and give them the most unique and tailored green beauty shopping experience. We are incredibly grateful, and so delighted for 2016- Happy New Year! We wish you abundance, profound joy, and radiant health.
